First, let us start off by saying that we can work with just about anything. The Artwork Guidelines are in no way intended to overwhelm or dissuade you from bringing non-formatted or low quality images to us for printing.
By following the Artwork Guidelines, however, you can avoid incurring an additional hourly graphic designer’s fee, which will ensure that you get the least expensive quote we can offer you for your job.
If you have any questions at all regarding your art work, please feel free to call us and ask!
In order to produce high quality prints, we first need to work with a high quality image. Vector graphics are excellent, because they can be scaled up or down in size without getting distorted or pixelated. See image below for an example of a vector graphic and high resolution image, versus a low resolution raster/jpg image.
Vector artwork is preferred and highly suggested. Please save your vector files as .eps, .pdf, or .ai files. When working in Illustrator, convert all the text into outlines.
Raster/JPEG artwork is best at a high resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
For inquiry purposes, feel free to send us a standard size .jpg or .tiff to review.
Whenever possible please keep your photoshop and illustrator files layered, labeled, and as clean as possible.
There is no charge for simple digital conversions or alterations that take our graphic designer less than 45 minutes to complete. However, more complex conversions and alterations that exceed the 45 minute mark incur an hourly graphic design fee of $50/hour.
Charges may also be applicable if artwork is not sized to print (11 x 17 is our maximum size for most orders or larger for non-vector artworks such as .jpeg/.tiff. )
If typesetting or modifications are needed, we will try to match fonts as closely as possible, but we cannot guarantee exact matches.
PMS color matches are available for a $15 charge per color. We strive to match PMS as closely as possible, but we cannot guarantee exact matches.
All finalized artwork will be sent to you in a Art Proof form. The art proof must be approved before production of the t-shirts can occur. Please Note: Extra time spent on changes to the artwork may result in additional art charges (see Artwork Charges section).
EMAIL: Artwork can be sent to email@example.com
Also feel free to stop in with your artwork at the shop.
Please have all artwork clear and neat.
